Obamacare rule in effect after Trump’s FDA pick doesn't block it

In response to the ACA rule, many chains began cutting back on the ingredients that made calorie counts skyrocket in their menu items. Panera Bread, for example, altered the recipe in its black bean soup, resulting in a 42% drop in calories, according to the Center for Science in the Public Interest. In a similar move, Ruby Tuesday was able to drop the calories in its chicken and broccoli pasta by 30%.
