This has been quite the tumultuous year for the Brazilians.
Off the back of their Tournament of Nations performance, followed by two friendly losses to the Matildas, their coach, Emily Lima, was sacked — sparking retirements and protests from the players.
But since then, Brazil has found a strong run of form, going unbeaten at the Copa America Feminina to book their spot at the 2019 World Cup.
The players to watch? Aside from veteran star Marta, the names to keep an eye out for are Camila and Debinha. Camila recently returned for Orlando from a serious knee injury and is a classy defender/midfielder who scored against Australia last year. Meanwhile, forward Debinha has been in stellar form for the NC Courage in the NWSL.
If there’s one thing you can guarantee, it’s that any game between Australia and Brazil will be entertaining.
Watch the match live on Fox Sports 507 from 6:05am.
